I just tried to call him, as I have both his home and cell Number. Dan went in to the Hospital Sat. with another clot in his leg. According to his Lady, they have removed the clot and are doing some scans. He is presently in ICU. His Lady friend said she would call me as soon as he was moved to a regular room. He can receive no calls in ICU. He is expected to be moved out of ICU in a few days. I will keep you all posted when I hear.

Got a surprise call from Dan this evening. Christine told him I called. He had the clot removed and they are checking to see if in probing for the clot they did any damage. He sounds strong but weary of all he has gone through in the past few years. He does not have a phone in ICU but did use his cell.

Christine will call me when they know more and/or he is moved to a room we can reach him at.

Let us all send those good vibes to one of the great ones we have met through this board.

Spoke to Christine a little while ago. She said that Dan was feeling better. Thought he might even come home today, but has not gotten a release from the Doctor as yet.

She will keep us appraised of any change.

Just got home today. They wanted to put me in a rehab place for a few weeks. I stopped that BS as soon as it started. I did agree to home health care for a few weeks. But no driving, bare minim on walking. But I will have a nurse here twice a day for a few weeks. I had the blood clot in my right leg, just above the knee. They run a tube into the femoal artiey on the left side. That tube is then pushed all the way around thru the bottom of the aorta in to the fermoral artey on the right side down to where the blockage is. Then they shoot a drug called TPA into the tube. But in doing that they punched a little hole inside me. The hole where they inserted the tube became infected. Any ways I'm home
I want to thank all you guys for the phone calls and emails here and at home. What a fine bunch of people you are.
Thanks again. It's going to curtail some of my other actives.
Dan
