WOW  Nice mess of fishes Eddie.Good to see some of you east coast guys coming back to the board.
wow, that's a great day of catchin'!
Makes me homesick for the Chesapeake. Brincefield used to run out of Maryland as I recall. Must have moved south to VA Beach for the balmier weather :D
Nice bunch of fish. I'm glad someone is getting out on the water (he says with envy).:D

For those of you who don't know me, from left to right, I am the third person in the lineup.
I've been taking these winter striper trips with Jim Brincefield for years, and he has never failed to put us on the big fish. Normally we fish in the Atlantic, and are allowed 2 big fish per person. We had to fish in the Chesapeake Bay this time, and could take one fish per person over 34", and one per person between 18" and 28". We found plenty of big fish (tossed a bunch back), but few in the short slot. So that's why we only hold up 10 fish.
The fish in my right hand was de-gilled as soon as it came aboard....bleeding it out for sashimi. And, man, was it delicious. Some of the best fish I've ever eaten.:D
As crowded as the Chesapeake region is, it still is a great place for an outdoorsman. I have 3 deer in the freezer, we're having striper for dinner again tonight, and I and some of my hunting buddies (#s 1 and 2, in the photo above) shot some geese on the Eastern Shore this morning. Life is good. I've been having to turn down invitations to fish (too busy with honey-do chores), but the fish are still here.
Going deer hunting (late muzzle-loader season) again next week.:)

Brincefield moved to where the fish are. He's more into "catching" than "fishing".
Let me see now, third from the left????? That be the one with frost on his chin:D It's nice to put a face to the posts and life does sound good.

Zane, I really do not remember Eddie in past picture sporting the frost either:D Again great catch Eddie
I even caught a fish on my last trip 'up north' for Thanxgiving week...
on the way home took our usual detour to Atlantic City met up with a good friend who used to post here a lot in the 'olde days'.. Bob AC/NJ....as we always do, the four of us pigged out for three nites in a few restaurants and Bob was nice enuff to take me out on the water on his boat to wet a line after the winds finally laid down one afternoon ... fishing was a bit slow that day...I caught this decent Striper.. 35"
for those who don't know....Bob is a retired AC cop who now runs his own Fishing Charter bizness as well as running the 45' sportfishing boat for the marina where his wife w*rks in AC.. and is in to photography big time..

Yop. Yop. I remember seeing Eddie at the first reunion and I don't recall the frost. I'm thinking that Eddie might be aging! :D I know. I know. It's hard to believe. However, it does happen to some folks. Fortunately, it hasn't happened to any of the rest of us!:D

I've been a Green Grouper for 11 years now.
I still have enough strength yet to reel in a big tuna. Don't plant me in the clay yet!
