The NMFS in their infinite wisdom, threatened Texas with "certain reprucussions" if we didn't adopt their ludicrous limits on Red Snapper. They lost by a 500 to 2 vote. Our snapper season will remain open for at least another year, thanks to a certain "yellow board" uprising. I am sure CCA won't renew my membership next year. Oh well. When CCA starts voting with the Ocean Conservatory in your 'hood, men, show them the door. I thought the Evironmental Defense rep was going to start crying. Sitting on two federal panels and watching them both get their collective butts kicked was priceless today. I was the guy in the Hawaiian shirt, btw. Same as always. Florida west cost guys, you guys need to do the same thing and send them a message.
