Do me a big favor, and quit making those visits to the hospital unless you're going to see a friend. I can think of a lot of better ways to spend thirteen days.

Your right Greg, it took 13 days this time. Not the normal 6 or 7 days. A few more things messed up this time. Another blood clot in the right leg, more kidney failure. Not much left in the way of kidney fuction. I turned down the dialisis so they sent me home. I told them if that kidney wanted to work it would have to do it on it's own. Of course the left kidney died 2 years ago. They gave me blood to help me on my way out the door.
I left the 4th floor, went down to valet parking, retrieved my car, went home and had a rum and coke. It was a light one tho.
Again I want to thank you guys for your best wishes and calls while I was in the hospital.
Bless you all~~~~~~~~ Dan

Gee whizzzzzzz! I've been away from the board for a bit. Been preparing for our annual family reunion and just got back from the mountains of Tennessee. We took my sister and b-i-l up there for their first time. Anyway, glad to see that the crisis is over and that you are back home, Dan. :D
Now, stay healthy and stay away from the hospital! That place is for sick people!
Get well, my friend!

I'm sure you are happy to be home.

Spring is trying to spring up here in the woods.

I think you, JohnnyB and I spent an afternoon with her and came back to find my new boat with a couple of hundred gallons of water in it. Our dear friend PK was there to record it. No harm, no foul. That was the year that Greg, DanG, Joe Ga, PK and I filled every place on the boat we could find with fish at the Boil.

Memories for old Men!!!!!!!

I must've cleaned fish for three hours. Not only did we all get fish to take home, the maids at the hotel even got some. Dan G. pulled up a beauty of a redfish. We caught spadefish till we ran out of live shrimp, then talked some other guys out of some dead shrimp, & caught some more. I learned the hard way to wipe my d#@n hands off after handling fish, before fishing again...lost a spinning outfit.

That was one helluva fishing trip, with a bunch of great guys.

Youse guys were down on one dock cleaning fish and I was on the other dock drinking Mount Gay and coke. Somebody came to my dock with 4 catfish and said they didn't know to clean catfish. That lime juice did a hell of a job on them after I cleaned them. They really are a good eating fish. Nice white meat.

Was that the muck where someone threw a cast net off the dock, over a dolfin or some other large citizen of the sea? It's in the back of my mind some where, but to foggy to come forth.
Greg, was that by you that the woman got chewed up by a big cat of some kind?

I think it was the famous PK, throwing one over a smallish Tarpon.

I think your right Howard. That's one way to mess up a cast net, real quick. And with a fish you can't even eat.
I'm on a diet of 1oz of meat a day, Greg calls and says, " Dan, I just put two-2" thick steaks on the grill." I hope you burned them black, all the way thru. Thanks for calling Greg.:D ,, ;)

yop.. that was me... threw it off the last dock onto some mullet passing thru.. got a small Tarpon instead... only Tarpon I ever 'caught'.. .. I 'sewed' up my cast net for the next half hour...

now does anyone remember the 'muck' when Duff nearly burned down the meeting center building burning hot wings on the grill.. not sure if it was the same get together..

..and how about this one... I like that shirt!.. I know this was the muck when we caught all the fish at the 'boil'

Great shots Ray.

The first group was taken the afternoon and evening of the Pig Roast. (the Pig that never got done).

We did have some fun, for sure.

Wasn't there one day when we were all out on the boats, when a few of the Gals bought some big fish and tried to tell us they caught them off the docks?

I do not believe there was ever a better feed then the night Monty & Sarge cooked steaks and we had that mound of Florida Lobster all shelled. Nor will I ever forget the Mudslides that Monty, Sarge and Billy P. kept whipping up in Monty's suite. That night I thought I had died and went to heaven.

Thanks to all for some great days of fishing and friendship.
