Yup. Yup. They had an awful mess. This afternoon, I had to empty my rain gage because it was past the 5 inch mark. It's still raining! We won't get any 33 inches, though! We've had a few branches down and a lot of leaves and here's a picture of some of the damage. Look at the way that Fern has been dumped over!

We had a pretty good amount. This AM my pool had a Water Moccasin, a Gator and a Guy from Calabash. The Guy from Calabash ate the Moccasin and then the Gator ate the Guy from Calabash........Kidding..... The Gator spit out the Guy from Calabash said it tasted like a Cannoli. :D  :D Everybody likes a Cannoli, dumb ass Gator.

I assume you have looked at the brighter side of things???? Unlike my first report on your whereabouts, you didnt get eaten by the gator..... so I assume you ate him???? Grilled or roasted?:p

you gotta go 'up north to LI' and visit the Glen Cove area... stop in at St Rocco's bakery behind the church.. all the 'cannoli's you'd want... burp burp
in case you've forgotten the area... :D :p

Nobody had Cannoli's like Ferrara's on Grand St. Not to mention their Napoleans and Baba su Rhum. That would be after having the Scungili, Calamari or Gombero at Vincent's.
Calamari? Please don't tell me you eat bait, Howard.

Scungili is snails or escargot for you fancy pants. Gamberos is Shrimp.
Yes Monty, I love Calamari. Hey PK enlighten the Cowboy.:D :D
hehe, snails are fine, Stacy and I love them. Rich little suckers though. I can't eat too many. I was just kidding about eating bait. Calamari is good if the squid is fresh. I get the stuff from the Chinese grocery and use it for snapper all the time though. It's a lot fresher than most of the bait grade squid. I love shrimp, and it's in season here right now. Trouble is, it doesn't love me. Something about shellfish really sets off the gout.

okay.. a condensed I-tal-yun Brooklyn lesson.. here goes...the correct pronunciation in Brooklyn would be "gal-a mahd" or for you high falutin types.. 'cal-ay-mar-eee'...or for the great folks in Texas---'it's just bait y'all' !!!.....
http://homecooking.about.com/od/cookingfaqs/f/faqcalamari.htm
cannolis is pronounced "gah-nole-eees" .. an I-Tal-yun pastry in the land of Brooklyn....... but said city is also known for the famed 'Coney Island Whitefish' http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Coney%20Island%20whitefish
Scungili is pronounced 'scun-geeel'... actually it is a larger than life ocean snail--similar to a Conk.. you know the type you hold up to your ear and hear the ocean in..
this may tell it a lot 'more better-er' than moi...:D
