just got an 'undeliverable' from an email I sent out a little while ago from Capt Dan's mailbox.... 'mailbox full'.. the last few times that happened he was in the hospital

I got the same thing & called him. It's just that his computer has such a small capacity for e-mail, & he's away from it for a few days. He sounds good.

I and a friend went to Sebring, FL for a few days. Woke up Friday morning to frost all over the car and ground. It's all Mont's fault. He started the thread about all the snow and cold weather moving thru Texas.
Things are looing up this week, supposed to be in the 80's all week, then I hope it warms up and rains for a week, but, NO SNOW.
Again thanks for asking about me. I'm takin care of myself, hoping to live as long as Howard.

In order to live as long as I have, there are certain rules you must follow.

#1- Do not go out drinking with Dan S and JohnnyBfishing, after forgetting to put the plug in your boat.

#2- Forget all the rest of the rules, I have lived past that one. In case I forget, PK will always remind me.

My real life ambition is to LOOK as old as Batbreath and still be around and to always be able to read this forum and be able to answer.

After looking in a mirror, if I am only 38, you are right, G-d awful shape. However not too bad for the real 72+. I only want to look as good as my Hero, Bryan :rolleyes: . However, he will not tell me who his makeup Man is. I have a feeling that it is the same Guy that did Lon Chaney, in the Wolf Man.;) ;)

Aw gee Howard-- It IS the holiday season , so I really didnt want to introduce reality that might spoil the moment-- But you have to realize your eyeballs just aint what they were 85 years ago...:o What you saw me wearing was an angora (nuthin but the best for my soft skin) ski mask!!! I love it dearly as I dont have to comb my beard everyday..

But back to you, my bestest friend in the whole wide world. And as such it falls to me to give you the bad news... as only a REALLY good friend can do) . First you have to stop trying to see out of the glass eye of yours-- it aint never going to work again ( and you put it in backwards last time as well.:( ) Now try to concentrate---- HEY-- I SAID CONCENTRATE!!! Over here!!!! There thats better.... sorry I had to yell but you must have spent too much time on the firing line without those ear muff thingies.... but I guess there werent such things as range officers to tell you to cover and protect back when you were using muskets????

Anyway-- back to the subject....Focus that one semi good eye for me... Now look carefully into the bathroom mirror ( the bathroom is where you go to do number 2s, not on the rosebushes outside where you do your number one. )
Yep- amazing the damage to skin from the Fl and PV sun---- and now look at your terminal wrinkles from excessive pool time and this is what you get!! :eek: But not to worry now my friend—you must be proud that they used you as the model for Yoda!!! And that an honor that only you can have !!
