I remember while growing up in Coney Island in the 50's and early 60's the Cyclone was 15 cents .. then it went way up to a quarter a ride and everyone was pissed.. but having been on many a roller coaster it still is thee best of the best especially of the old wooden coasters

Howard, that was ice cold. True, but cold. And here, I figured you for a man who was raised to respect his elders.

Respect Dan S? Hell I want to grow up just like him. I know very few that have done more, been to more exotic places and will tell you about any of it, without a single brag.
A human, a notch above the rest. I am proud to call him friend.

You can talk about me if you want. I just got out of the hospital. Another blood clot in my right leg. The femoral artey in that lag was replaced 11 years ago with 'Gortex" tubing. That tubing has been reamed out 8 times because of blood clots. It's getting pretty scared up. Needs replacing. I was in the hospital 6 days, 4 day's flat on my back with a tube that went in the left groin and fed around to the right groin and down the Gortex tube. They use that tube to pump a blood desolver into the clot. The stuff is called TPA. This clot was 14" long, from the groin to the knee. The knee is where the graft ends. One needs to lay perfectly flat and not move, any movement would cause the tube to tear the artery and lots of blood would fly all over the damn place. But I just got home this afternoon, now for 3 days of house arrest. Now don't you feel bad that you where picking on me. Naw, you don't Dan
