Well, I had them price in everything needed for the 21' Mako Inshore (2201) and the tab grew and grew. But the 6.5' rods wouldn't fit in the holders with any top and the T-top doesn't come with rocket launchers (let's see if DHS keys in on that phrase ;) )

Doing an Internet search on 2008 Mako Offshore 22' model 212. I found 3 dealer stock boats. This is the one with the head-in-console. Found 1 fully ocean rigged with a 250 Suzuki. Soooooo, the sales guy called me back with the price and it looks pretty good.

Going to sleep on this one and then call the dealer tomorrow.

Geeeee, boat shopping is a b(eye)tch.

The offer is in Mont. They called my office and left a message. I'll call 'em back tomorrow.

Tracker (Mako owner) leaves no negation leeway to their distributors. Everything has to go thru corporate. But, there is no such thing as "non-negotiable" (regardless of what the sales guy says). We're dealing with delivery time and timing of settlement.

The boat is at the Travis Boating Center in New Iberia, LA.

Later

p.s. The timing issue is I'm scheduled for a hip replacement surgery June 1. I want the boat delivered June 15 and, of course, they want their money now.
