I got my uncle out of the hospital yesterday and into a rent house 2 doors down from Mom's. He's doing pretty good and I am taking my Dad to lunch today. He loves Indian food, so we are off to Mogul's for some spicy eating. I had been on the road for a couple of days and sleeping in my own bed last night was greatness. I hope y'all all have a great day.

Thanks, Mont. I had a pleasant afternoon visiting with my daughter & hers. Managed to get a picture of my granddaughter with my new phone & make it the wallpaper instead of what came on it. That'll work until the next big fish comes aboard.

Hope everyone had a great Father's Day! I spent the weekend with my kids at Ponce Inlet - yesterday was the longest, and today was the hottest, days of the year. Went through a big can of sunscreen but thanks to a nice breeze and good places to swim, it was a perfect day.

I hope everyone enjoyed there fathers day.I went to the beach with my wife and two girls.I did get to do some wade fishing on Monday morning.About two hours into my wade. I see a nice red fish tailing in about two feet of water.I made one cast that landed about fifteen feet in front of the fish.I reeled a rootbeer bass assassin right in front of her nose, and she inhaled it.The fight was on.A couple of good runs and acouple of circle around me and I landed a 36" red.SWEET.Ended my wade with six speckle trout and one nice red fish. All fish were let go,because I was to lazy to clean them.Came home to a bright red garden. The tomato plants are loaded down.Looks like we will be making hot sauce soon.Rusty

I'm glad you all are enjoying the fathers day time. I had the fun of taking my 11yo, soon to be 12 to a fly fishing camp in northern California. Bella entered a essay contest about fly fishing and won a week at the camp. Mrs. fool and I agreed to drive her to the camp (623 miles) from home. What a great fathers day gift, we had a wonderful time. This is the little gal that fishes with grandpa in Canada every year (July 12 will be her fifth time going up to fish with grandpa) To all you young guys, grandkids are the greatest :D :D

Just great sharing with the kids aint it??!!

This is what I organized for Fathers Day for our Rod and Gun Club.. called a Family Fishing Weekend
http://i554.photobucket.com/albums/jj412/Batbreath/DSCF0493.jpg

Over the weekend our Club had approx 900 adults and youngsters fishing. Thier catch was approx 500 rainbow trout .

I also got to play Santa (early) when I gave away 54 rod and reel combos to first time fishermen and gals.

A LOT of work-- but not as bad as driving over 600 miles!!! Congrats to your granddaughter Fool!!
