Thanks guys. I was supposed to be fishing, planned an afternoon dolphin trip with my son out of Jupiter, to be extended into a night Sword trip, but I came down with a bad headcold and canceled.  I get one of these colds about every other year  It will last about 2 weeks and I'll be back to fishing.
Ray - Happy retirement day to you too. I left the last day possible. Federal LEO's have a mandatory retirement at 57 and I left the last day possible. Been 5 years now.

Happy birthday. Every retired guy is the same age as Howard. Except me. Back when I was chartering I had people ask me if I ever had a real job.
Dan,, ;) :D

Since I 'retired' in 1977 and again in 1995, there isn't enough time to complete all of the 'honey-do's' while completing my 'necessary' projects. Something has to give.
Happy Birthday and anniversary both Jack and PK.
75 and still making them one day at a time. C2

Happy Birthday Jack.
Welcome Charlie B. Nice to have another of the "I am not getting older, I am getting better" to add to the crowd. Moves me down to third place, after you and Capt Dan. Capt. Dan did his first fishing off the Santa Maria, with one of PKs family.

Welcome aboard, Charlie! It's always good to see someone else on the green board who is my elder. I'll retire the first time in less than three years. You've got me by eleven.

thank you..
and nice to see you over here on the one and only GG board...
p.s. for those who don't know.. Charlie has been on the old St Augustine Fishing Board for many years with Gowge as it's webmaster I was over there also ... Gowge passed away a couple of years ago and it just seems the board hasn't been the same.. he's from the panhandle area of Florida .. he is a wealth of knowledge especially about surf fishing.. rod building

Hey PK, about Charlie2's rod building, is that anything like Batbreath's Penile Implant?

I think the HEAT has finally gotten to you... you need a few weeks in PV to 'kewl' down..

Yep, that is where we are the first week. The next two are at our other one, the Velas on the other side of the Marina.

Nice looking place, and a nice city to spend time. Although I did like it better in the early 80's when you could get a nice mexican hotel south of the bridge for 8-10 dollars a night. We were there a couple of years ago, WOW has it grown with hotels on the beaches that we used to camp on.
Have an umbrella drink for me Howard :D :D

Zane this will be our 26th year there. Vicki and I first went to PV in 1984 and while it has grown, it is still a great place, with lots of feel for Old Mexico along with the new.

I had to signal them from our cruise ship and let them know I'm a 'goyem' and not the rich frito-bandito from Jax

Yepper, the laddered building on the mid left is the Velas.
I think the Yacht you have pictured belongs to the Richest Man in Mexico and for a brief period of last year he was (on paper) richer then Gates. His name is Carlos Slim. He owns almost all of the communications companies in Mexico and who know what else.
The little panga at the right side of the channel are guys that sell the sportfisherman the live bait. I have 3 trips set for this year. One each week and maybe the first week will go out with my Buddy that owns a Panga. Bryan did well with him when he was in PV last. They must have been drinking Raicilla, (Mexican Shine) as the friend Beto, said that Batbreath was a pretty good guy for a Canucklehead.
I spend most evenings at one of the Beach Bars watching the Sun and the Margaritas or Completos go down.
