'course, she isn't going to let me put a rod rack on it :D and the cooler space is limited.

sweeeet! Let me know when you are going to be in town and we can get some sand between out toes. The croaker are just starting to turn on. The weather this weekend is the pits for fishin', so we are heading to a bike rally in Bay City.

After looking at that beauty, both of them. Will there be any money left for a charter??

It was only about 23 offshore charter runs after discount and trade in :) By the way, I filled up the 'burban this morning for $2.12/gallon.

Mont,

We'll let you know. I plan on one day at SLP to do a mind dump. It was the 3rd week in October that I got into the bull Reds with only 3 trucks on the beach. Sweet.

I filled up tonight at 2:49.9. These stations around here have not heard the word. Dan

JD, the bull red run is in full swing. They showed up this weekend at the jetties.

This has been the 2nd hottest summer in Texas history according to the weather gurus. But I see the water temp at 41025 is 81.9. That's about 10 degrees cooler than this time last year (I noted in the period of Katrina to Rita it was about 91).

Air temp was in the low 50's here this morning and we took a tour of the countryside yesterday as it only got up to about 80. Yeppers, my favorite time of year. I have a couple of business meetings this week After them I can probably set a date and get hotel reservations.....

Dan, it should take them about 10 days to swim from the jetties to Surfside. The run is well underway. There's a gathering set for Oct. 6-7th at entrance number 5-6 over there. You and your bride are welcome to the back set of bunks in the Warrior. I am going to bring the yak, and the following Thursday, Stacy and I head for Mexico and SPI. Life is good.
