we were just up there on Cape Cod the last week in Sept for a wedding.. and we--myself.. Bob P and John B( the groom) ( former NJ GG's from yesteryear)-- surf fished for Stripers off Race Point at the very end of the Cape.. a few guys were using their Kayaks to run baits out 150 yds or more.. and they were catching decent ones.. we got squat

here's a couple of pics I snapped at Race Point using my camera with Bob's 400mm lens attached of a couple of guys using their Kayaks and catching Stripers
as you can see...the seals were all over the place up that way...

My aunt (91 & living with me now) lived in Orleans for many years. I spent a little money in that tackle shop when we went up there to move her down here.

The Cape is nice, but I can do without those roundabouts.

we stayed at the Main Stay Inn in Wellfleet 10 miles away and the next town up from Orleans... it sure is in the middle of nowhere... the last time we were up that way was in 1975.. it's still the same.. roundabouts and all...
