That's good news for sure. The story being told around here is that once they confirm it will hold, they are going to hook the manifold to it and start letting it flow to the ships up top. They also filled both relief wells with mud as a precaution, and have to get that back working to finish drilling. Any way you look at it, it's very good news.

but I also hope the Obama gubmint goes after BP and not let them off the hook after nearly 3 months of spewing oil ... all these oil companies without a viable contingency plan for this kind of disaster is craziness...

Lets not forget how long Exxon has held out from paying what they were supposed to for the Valdez spill.
It is much more important to start drilling off of Libya, right?
