OK, OK, I haven’t been posting much lately. That’s because I haven’t been fishing much lately. Well the drought is over, I’m leaving for a week in Tashsis and hope to post a report that rivals the snakemans. Batbreath won’t go with me anymore as the boat breaks or the engine fries, but that’s OK because I can’t afford too many more of those $18,000 Engines  Leaving in the morning about six and will post some kind of a report next Monday (a week from now) morning. If nothing else we will eat good and have our share of adult beverages.

Well out the door at 6 am for the 300 mile drive (and a 2 hr ferry ride) to the house in Tahsis. First day was bright sunshine with a NW wind that made it a little choppy. But we were able to catch a few Coho and limited on ling cod (three apiece). Second day was an offshore trip with limited success although we did get a 56# halibut, a few small salmon, and another limit of lings to 20#. Bryan couldn’t make the trip with me therefore the boat ran well and there were no breakdowns :D :D . All in all a fun time, I go up again at the end of this month with my son and granddaughter for a week. She just turned 13 and this will be the seventh year she has fished with me in Canada.

That looks like some great fishin' to me. It's 98 degrees in the shade here right now. Send some of that cool weather south if you get tired of it.

We had a cold front move in yesterday. Rain and showers overnight. Temps back to the 70s now... I think I like that! :D

monty, interestly it was like 60 degress (or less) out on the ocean under heavy overcast and it was over 80 inland at the dock. Somewhere in there there should be a happy medium:D :D Bat Breath is just jealous that he couldn't go with me. Ignore him:D

and real good eating. If you get tired of all your rain please be my guest and send it to Florida. Don't send it by way of Ray, he'll keep it all for himself... :P..
