We got a norther through here and fishing is completely blown out. I am heading to the beach to camp and attend a gathering that's going to have live music. Time to kill a few blue cans.

I had a good time. The weather was a bit on the cold side, Friday night, and I got to check out the heater in the RV. Worked great. Saturday morning, God was smiling down on south Texas.

Heater??????? Now at least I had a good reason to turn on the heater in the camper when chasing the elusive elk-- it was 22 degrees F...... My water tank was in the first stages of icing up!!!

So tell me again-- it was really the air conditioner you turned on-- right????? ;)

When you live this far south, Bryan, the old blood gets thin. Plus, it's a different kind of cold than what y'all have up there. 50 degrees, 20 mile an hour winds, and 90% humidity will cause the boyz to run and hide.

We are off the biggest bike rally in the state this afternoon. The Lonestar rally is held about 20 minutes south of here. I can't wait to leather up and hit the road. We had another cold front blow in yesterday and it's sunny and cool, perfect for riding and checking out the hardware down there.
